Nugget Snowman Favors

I love to make favors and if they involve chocolate it's even better!  I first saw these adorable little snowmen on Stampin' Connection, the demo only website.  They were created by demo Linda Bauwin.  The faces are stamped from the Snow Day stamp set.  The little hats are made from the fingers of gloves.  I stamped the faces and sent my husband to the dollar store to buy the gloves to use for the hats.  But guess what?  No gloves here in Florida.  The clerk told him they don't even order them.  But she suggested bath gloves.  They worked just fine.  So I have pastel hats on my snowmen and I think they are still adorable.

Stamp Set:  Snow Day
Ink:  Jet Black StazOn, Pumpkin Pie
Paper:  Whisper White Card Stock
Accessories:  Glue Dots
Other:  Hershey Nuggets, gloves from dollar store

Cut the Whisper White card stock 1" x 3-1/4".  Stamp the face from Snow Day in Jet Black StazOn, centered and close to the bottom.  Stamp the nose in Pumpkin Pie.

Wrap the stamped face around a Hershey Nugget.

Cut the fingers off of the gloves.

Roll the bottom of the finger to form a hat and place on the nugget.

DON'T FORGET - Today is the final day of the Holiday Sale and Weekly Deals, as well as the Cyber Monday Sale.

  1. oh Carol...those are just too cute! And I am getting a kick out of thinking about Gary wandering around looking for gloves in FL! lol! The bath gloves worked just fine...I may have to watch for some cheapie kiddy gloves at WalMart and make some snowman faces, that idea is too good not to share!

Congrats on earning an award for the 25 sets challenge...I don't even remember what that was about but I saw your name on the list of winners! Go, Carol!

See you later this month (hopefully our schedules will overlap and we can connect).

  2. I love these....and agree with Jan about Gary on a mission to find them! I actually LOVE the idea of the pastel hats!

  3. Just saw these. They are crazy cute.
